MultiSpec®
UV/VIS is part of the modular MultiSpec® instrument
family, providing various spectral ranges from 195nm up to
1100 nm. tec5 instruments are based on the monolithic spectrometers
from Carl Zeiss. The high light sensitivity and the extreme
stability of these components allow together with the tec5
15/16-bit electronics very accurate measurements with high
dynamic range. The modules are available for various wavelength
ranges and resolutions. The detector array based spectrometer
design provides acquisition of whole spectra within ms. High
reproducibility and long-term stability makes this technology
an ideal tool for process applications. In combination with
an NIR detector the spectral range can even be extended up
to 2550 nm.
MultiSpec®
Spectrometer Cassettes
MultiSpec® instruments can be equipped with
all types of Carl Zeiss spectrometer modules covering different
spectral ranges and resolutions:
The MultiSpec® CCD Spectrometer system offers
very high sensitivity over the whole spectral range from UV
to NIR with the large dynamic range of a classical photo-diode
detector array. This system is especially suitable for low light
level detection like fluorescence, film thickness, plasma or
diffuse reflection measurements. Due to the capability to detect
even smallest amounts of light, short exposure times can be
achieved for high speed process control.
The MultiSpec UV/VIS systems
can be equipped with various types of light sources, matching
customers demands. Multiplexing Multi Channel
Systems
The electronic spectral sensor multiplexer (only for Si-PDAs)
provides important advantages. For multi-point applications
spectra of up to 8 channels can be taken simultaneously, therefore,
the costs per measure-ment point is reduced dramatically. With
the 2-channel version sample and reference data are acquired
at the same time for referencing of e.g. a Xe flashlamp. Variations
and drifts of the light source are compensated perfectly. The
tec5 multiplexer has no moving parts and is fast and reliable.
NEW:
Solarisation free-UV stable spectrometers and light
fibres allow fibre optic spectroscopy down to 195
nm. (optional)
Process Communication
The MultiSpec systems can be equipped with analog (4-20mA)
and digital I/Os for process communication to transfer results
and status information to a process control system. 19 housing and
Ex-proof housing For rough environment a 19 rack enclosure or
Ex-proof housing is available.
