The N-Sensor,
a mobile platform based system for on-line determination
of Nitrogen fertilizer input
|
The N-Sensor detects the Chlorophyll content
of plants, determines the nutrient requirements and controls
the Nitrogen fertilizer dispenser while being driven through
a field. The measurement system is ideally matched to the
extreme conditions as humidity, dust, high mechanical stress,
and electronic interference as well as misuse.
The N-Sensor was
developed for Yara Deutschland GmbH & Co. KG, transferred
to production and manufactured in quantity by tec5 in less
than 2 years. This measurement system received many awards
and put our partner several years ahead of its competitors.

Dynamic Dissolution Monitor

The Rainbow
Dynamic Dissolution Monitor is a high-quality 6 (8) channel
UV spectrometer system for acquiring precise, accurate,
reproducible and robust dissolution profiles of drug formulations.

The system utilizes
6 (8) immersion probes to acquire 6 (8) UV spectra simultaneously
during a dissolution test. Each probe is placed inside a dissolution
vessel and remains in the vessel for the duration of the test.
During a run, the system can acquire absorbance scans every
10 seconds. A deuterium lamp is used as light source, which
provides light to all channels via a special designed light
guide. The system was developed for Delphian Technology LP,
Ardsley, USA, transferred to production and manufactured in
quantity by tec5.
