Software
tec5 software products are offered for current Windows platforms. The support of other operating systems is possible on request.

Device Drivers
Kernel mode driver for operating systems Windows XP, Vista and 7 (32 and 64 bit) are available for the interface electronics PD-USB01V2 and PD-PCI01V1 as well as Windows CE device driver for PD-USB01V2.
The Ethernet interface electronics communicates directly using a proprietary, TCP/IP based protocol, thus no device driver is required. Additional operating systems are supported in some configurations and modes of operation. Please contact tec5 in case of special requirements.

AdminTool
The AdminTool is a test program for tec5 spectrometer electronics and spectrometer systems. It allows the acquisition and display of pixel related data as well as the setting
of the sensor parameters (calibration coefficients, number of pixels, sensor type) and their storage to the hardware. The acquired data can be exported as an ASCII file for further processing.


Function libraries / Software Development Kits (SDK)
To enable efficient customer application programming, SDKs are offered for a number of software development platforms. supporting all current electronics configurations based on the interface electronics PD-ETH01V1, PD-USB01V2 und PD-PCI01V1.

 SDK for the function library SDACQ32MP.DLL supporting C/C++, Visual Basic and Delphi programming languages

 SDK for the function library SDPROC32.DLL with ready-to-use dialogs for data acquisition, configuration and parameter setting

 LabVIEW function library (VIs) for programming in a LabVIEW development environment
•
 SDK for the function library SDACQCE for Windows CE (4.x and higher)
(supports PD-USB01V2 only).

MultiSpec® Pro
 Multi-purpose spectroscopy software package with various data acquisition modes, data display / processing and output options, designed for process applications. It runs all current tec5 operating electronics and spectrometer systems. The basic version can be upgraded by a number of optional add-on modules, e.g. for color measurement, chemometric prediction (compatible to The Unscrambler, GRAMS, SensoLogic) as well as for the process communication to cover numerous applications. Trial licenses available!
MultiSpec® Pro Lite
In cases especially requiring data acquisition, -display and export functionality, a lite version of the MultiSpec Pro software package is offered. Trial licenses available!
FTMPro Vis
 FTMPro Vis is an easy-to-use software package designed to determine the thickness of thin transparent layers. FTMPro Vis uses an improved FFT algorithm to calculate the film-thickness from the interference spectra with high precision.
For developing your own film thickness application we provide the powerful and very easy-to-use FTM-Lite++ programming library as DLL using standard-C calls.

GRAMS/AI®
The tec5 hardware can be linked to GRAMS/AI® from Thermo Galactic by the MyInstrument driver. This spectroscopy software package can be extended by many add-on modules and complies to 21 CFR Part 11.
