Because of the great variety of customer requirements, different optics are needed in respect of e.g.:

• Collimating or focusing optics
• Wavelength range
• Beam diameter
• Process environment (e.g. temperature, vacuum)
• and many more

In close coperation with our customers we design special optics to meet our customer`s needs when there is no commercial product available.

By means of collimators, diverging light beams from fibre-optic cables are made parallel. The second collimator does the opposite. It changes the parallel beam into a convergent beam which can be coupled into the fibre-optic cable.
